BANJO'S STORY

Sweet Banjo

We took banjo in when he was just a small puppy. He and his litter mates were born after their mother was dumped on a vacant property. His mother was a black lack, and we are unsure of the breed of his dad. He was living in a storm drain, covered in fleas and ticks when we found him. He comes from a litter of five and is a shy boy. He feels more comfortable when his brother is around, but if you have a heated blanket or a treat he'll quickly become your best friend. Banjo is a little scared of small children, and may bark once or twice but is friendly! He has stayed with families for some short term foster stays who had children and after a couple days he warmed up and his personality emerged! He would do best in a home with another dog to play with, or someone who is active and likes to go on walks. He can also be a cuddle bug, and couch potato if the day calls for it! He loves to sleep on the back cushions of the sofa and lie on his back with his feet straight up in the air. He often falls asleep with his mouth open, but if he hears anything that sounds like food or a snack he'll jump to attention right away!

Banjo is currently 10 months old, neutered and up to date on all his shots. Banjo doesn't get much attention at adoption events because he's a little shy and doesn't always enjoy being the center of attention. If you'd like to meet this sweet boy fill out the link below!!
